I wrote this song nearly ten years ago when some friends were thinking about getting divorced. The lyrics are not incredibly deep but I feel like there's something bigger in the simplicity. I never played it for either one of them. They are still together. I attempted several "demo" versions of this song that make me cringe when I try to listen to them. This is the song the way I meant it.
