Better Than You ( 4/14/10 )
Sunday and Monday are my "40x40" days but this week I had family obligations Sunday and Monday I had to be in Red Bank, NJ to work with a band in the studio. We wrapped Monday night at 10PM and I knew the only chance I had to get my song in this week was to jump in the car and drive the four hours back home. After digging through some old sessions I found "Better Than You." This song was originally recorded for the Getaway Car album "All Your Little Pieces" in 2004. We recorded it, had it mixed and then decided to leave it off. I decided to strip it down to just the original bass and drums and built it all back up from there...and with a lot of help from my friends I wrapped it all up by midnight.
