Nine years ago I wrote a wedding song called 6/16/01. Getaway Car recorded it a few times but it never came out right (although an 8 year old bass take survives to see this version.) It seemed appropriate to finally get it together and release it on 6/16/10. This is the only old song I knew from day one exactly when I was gonna record and release it. Tracked, played and sung through the misery of sunburn...here it is in all its glory. Worst. Weddingsong. Ever...
