What Am I Gonna Do Now ( 7/07/10 )
More than 8300 words later and with the help of 40 plus friends and musicians 40x40 is finished. I am relieved but a little sad. I got by with a lot of help from my friends...too many to list but they know who they are. A HUGE thank you goes out to everyone who downloaded and shared the songs from week to week. They will be up for as long as I can keep them there so continue to spread the love...And I, of course, must send every bit of love I have to my beautiful daughter Ryan who drew a picture every week to go with each song. It's done. I did it. Somehow. Deep breath and...exhale.
Here's a love song I wrote to the cruel mistress that 40x40 sometimes was. In the true spirit of this project it was written post fireworks on the 4th of July and recorded immediately after and well into the morning on July 5th...
